County Executive Ed Day, alongside Commissioner of Social Services Joan Silvestri and Executive Director of Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland Daniel Eudene, has announced an extension of the agreement to operate an Emergency Warming Center.

This center, located at the Dr. Robert L. Yeager Health Complex in Pomona, will be open from November 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024, providing shelter and warmth to vulnerable residents during the winter months.

The collaborative initiative underscores the commitment to the community’s well-being and safety during the colder season.
