In a bizarre incident, a local resident made a stunning discovery while deep cleaning his car in preparation for Pesach. The man, who had purchased the vehicle nine years ago at a police auction, found a loaded firearm and a stash of hidden drugs in a previously unknown hidden compartment.
The discovery was made when the man removed one of the vehicle’s floor mats, revealing the secret compartment. He immediately contacted Chaverim Of Rockland, which promptly alerted the Ramapo Police Department.
Officers responded and confiscated the weapon and drugs, launching an investigation into the incident. The Ramapo Police are working to determine the origin of the hidden compartment and the contents, which are believed to have been hidden in the car long before the current owner purchased it.
