Haverstraw Police Department Welcomes New Sergeants and Detective in Promotional Ceremony

The Town of Haverstraw celebrated the promotion of four police officers in a ceremony on Tuesday evening, presided over by Town Supervisor Howard Phillips and the Town Board. Town Clerk Raquel Ventura administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Sergeant William Santiago, Sergeant Daniel Maher, Sergeant Christopher Widmer, and Detective Timothy Tuckey.

These promotions, recognized amidst the support of family and colleagues, are seen as crucial for the department’s ongoing commitment to community safety and professional law enforcement. Supervisor Phillips expressed his confidence in the officers’ abilities to excel in their new roles, acknowledging their dedication and service to Haverstraw.
