Former Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick attends Civic Leaders Reception for new Exhibition Showing Horrors of Hamas Attack on the Nova Music Festival

On Thursday evening, former Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick joined many civic and community leaders in New York City for the opening of an interactive exhibit dedicated to the Nova Music Festival, which was the site of one of Hamas’ worst massacres on October 7. At a reception following the exhibit, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine led a discussion with two survivors who shared their experiences from the day of the attack. Also in attendance at the reception were several members of the State Assembly and NYC Council and representatives of Attorney General Leticia James and Governor Kathy Hochul.

“This exhibit was incredibly moving,” said Reichlin-Melnick. “It shows the depths of Hamas’ depraved agenda to attack and massacre innocent people enjoying a music festival. Seeing videos taken by the terrorists as they celebrated their brutality was sickening and hearing the voices of people who survived this attack is something I’ll never forget. Their courage in speaking out and sharing their stories is remarkable. The civilized world cannot rest until the terrorists who carried out this horrific attack are brought to justice.”

The exhibit has been created by the organizers of the Nova Music Festival and is open to the public from 11am to 8pm daily at 35 Wall St. in Manhattan. More information can be found at: www.nova0629exhibition.com/
