Demolition Kicks Off for New State-of-the-Art Hatzolah Of Rockland County’s Garage in Airmont

Today marks a significant milestone for Hatzolah of Rockland County as demolition begins at the new garage site in Airmont on Cherry Lane, corner of Annette Lane. This development follows the successful Hatzolah Pre-Campaign, which garnered substantial donations during pre-campaign events, enabling immediate action on the project.

With all plans approved by the Airmont Village Planning Board, the demolition of the existing structure is underway. The site will soon see the construction of a modern, two-story facility featuring garage bays for ambulances, an accessory office, and areas for storage and staging.

The pre-campaign’s success has fast-tracked the project, with work set to begin. Hatzolah projects that the new building will be completed by Rosh Hashanah, approximately four to five months from now.

Once operational, the new facility will significantly improve ambulance response times, enhancing emergency services for the Airmont community with state-of-the-art ambulances and facilities.
