Yakov Y. Kaufman Joins Spring Valley Trustee Race as Schenely Vital and Other Candidates Run for Mayor and Joseph Gross Seeks Trustee Reelection

Yakov Y. Kaufman has officially entered the race for trustee in the Village of Spring Valley, joining the upcoming June 24 election.

Kaufman, who has volunteered for a number of years with Chaverim of Rockland, is widely respected for his dedication to community service. He is seeking to fill the trustee seat vacated by Asher Grossman, who recently resigned. His candidacy adds a new dynamic to the race as residents consider their options for trusted and involved leadership.

Also running for trustee is board member Joseph Gross, who is seeking reelection to continue his service to the village.

In the mayoral race, Schenely Vital, former Rockland County Democratic Commissioner, is among several candidates campaigning for the position. With multiple seats up for grabs, the June 24 election is expected to draw significant attention from Spring Valley voters.
