Law enforcement officials, elected leaders, and community members gathered Sunday evening at the William P. Faist Volunteer Ambulance Corps headquarters for a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the introduction of two brand-new emergency response fly vehicles.
The new fly cars will help improve response times throughout the Town of Ramapo, allowing EMS personnel to arrive quickly on scene and begin patient care while additional ambulance units are en route.
During the ceremony, Assemblyman Aron Wieder presented an official citation recognizing the dedication and lifesaving service provided by the volunteers of Faist Ambulance.
Among those in attendance were Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht, Ramapo Deputy Supervisor Brendel Logan, Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, Montebello Mayor Lance Millman, Montebello Deputy Mayor Stacy Caridi, Senator Bill Weber, Assemblyman Aron Wieder, and Rockland County Legislator Joel Friedman, along with members of the Faist Ambulance Corps and other community leaders.
Officials praised the volunteers for their ongoing commitment to protecting the residents of Ramapo and emphasized the importance of continued investment in emergency response resources that support the community.
