Martin Marks, the White House Director of Jewish Engagement, spent Wednesday visiting several prominent Chassidic Rebbe’s across New York in what sources described as a personal visit.
Marks began the day with a shiva call in New Square following the Petira of the Rachmastrivka Rebbetzin A”H. He later traveled to Kiryas Joel for a visit with the Satmar Rebbe and continued to Kaser, where he met with the Vizhnitz Rebbe.
The day concluded in New Square, where Marks attended the Chasuna of a great-granddaughter of the Skverer Rebbe.
Marks did not deliver any public remarks or speeches during the visits, as the trip was conducted in a personal capacity.
