Authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred Wednesday evening at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Route 303 near Route 59.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, resulting in fatal injuries. In response, Route 303 was shut down in both directions near Bobby Lane as the Clarkstown Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit worked the scene.
The closure is expected to last several hours, and drivers are urged to use alternate routes and expect significant traffic delays in the area.
