West Nyack Firefighters Free Person Trapped in Elevator on Crosfield Ave

Emergency personnel responded Thursday after a person became trapped in an elevator at 2 Crosfield Avenue.

Clarkstown Police arrived on scene and requested assistance from the West Nyack Fire Department. Firefighters quickly went to work and safely extricated the individual from the stalled elevator. No injuries were reported.

  1. 2 Crosfield Ave. Is where Crystal Run Health-care is. I’m so glad I wasn’t there at the time. I could’ve had a serious problem. Gratefully no one was injured. Thanks to all who responded.
