The Nyack Water Department will be conducting routine hydrant flushing across West Nyack and Central Nyack beginning Monday, October 6, 2025, and continuing through Friday, October 10, 2025.
The work will take place overnight from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM to minimize disruption to residents and ensure the system remains in optimal condition.
Officials advise that customers using booster pumps should turn them off during flushing hours. Residents may experience temporary water discoloration or brief reductions in water pressure during this period. If discoloration occurs, running cold water until it clears should resolve the issue.
