At 2:00AM, firefighters and other emergency personnel responded to a fully engulfed structure fire at 39 East Railroad Avenue near Demarest Avenue in West Haverstraw. After battling the blaze for nearly two hours, crews were able to bring the fire under control.
The response included the West Haverstraw Fire Department, Stony Point Fire Department, Haverstraw Police Department, and Haverstraw Ambulance.
