WESLEY HILLS: Monsey Fire Department Quickly Extinguished Couch Fire On Glenbrook Road

Emergency personnel responded to a reported structure fire at 12 Glenbrook Road on Friday morning. The Monsey Fire Department, along with the Ramapo Police Department, arrived at the scene to find a fire on a couch inside the residence.

Firefighters swiftly extinguished the flames, ensuring that the fire did not spread beyond the furniture. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, and the home sustained minimal damage.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, though it appears to have been contained due to the department’s quick response. Residents are reminded to exercise caution with potential fire hazards and ensure that smoke detectors are functioning properly.
