WESLEY HILLS: Car Crash Brings Down Utility Pole, Closes Wilder Road

Wilder Road in Wesley Hills is shut down between Lime Kiln Road and Willow Tree Road after a crash Sunday around 4:00 p.m., when a car struck a utility pole, snapping it in half and bringing live wires down across the roadway.

Ramapo Police, the Monsey Fire Department, Spring Hill EMS, and Rockland Paramedics are on scene. O&R crews are working to secure the wires, and the roadway will remain closed until the area is made safe.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
