The Village of Wesley Hills is organizing a community blood drive on Monday, March 3rd, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wesley Hills Village Hall, located at 432 Route 306, Wesley Hills, NY 10952 in the Community Room/Courtroom. This event is being held in partnership with the New York Blood Center (NYBC) to help replenish the local blood supply and support patients in need.
Blood donations play a crucial role in medical treatments, including surgeries, cancer care, and emergency responses. The NYBC encourages individuals of all blood types to donate, as every donation can make a life-saving difference.
Appointments are preferred to ensure a smooth donation process, but walk-ins will be accepted if space permits. Those interested in donating can schedule an appointment by scanning the QR code on the event flyer, visiting nybc.org/donate, or calling 1-800-933-2566.
Donors are reminded to eat and drink beforehand and to bring a valid photo ID or donor ID card. The Wesley Hills community is encouraged to participate in this important event and help save lives through their generous contributions.
