Village Of Wesley Hills to Hold Public Meeting on Wilder Road Sidewalk Project October 28th

The Village of Wesley Hills will host a public meeting on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Wesley Hills Village Hall (432 Route 306, Wesley Hills, NY 10952) to gather community input on a new federally funded sidewalk project planned for Wilder Road.

The meeting will include a presentation by the project engineer, who will outline the proposed design and answer questions from residents. The sidewalk will be ADA-compliant and aims to enhance safety and accessibility for pedestrians traveling between neighborhoods, community areas, and recreational spaces.

According to the proposal, the new sidewalk system will be built on the west side of Wilder Road from the roundabout to Carter Lane, and will then continue on the east side from Carter Lane to Lime Kiln Road.

Village officials encourage residents to attend the meeting and share their feedback on the project, which is expected to improve both the walkability and visual appeal of the Wilder Road corridor.
