Village of Wesley Hills to Begin Park Improvements at Greg Sikorsky Park

Starting the week of August 11, the Village of Wesley Hills will launch a series of upgrades to Greg Sikorsky Park on Lime Kiln Road.

The project will include a new gravel walking trail connecting Jeremy Court to Rockwood Lane, the replacement of the pedestrian footbridge across the rear pond, repairs to fencing along the west side of the main pond, replacement of several damaged benches, and repairs to a section of the walking trail near the fishing pier. Crews will also carry out drainage and outlet structure improvements.

During construction, certain areas of the park will be temporarily closed, and visitors are urged to follow posted pedestrian barriers for safety. The playground will remain open throughout the work, which is expected to take several weeks.

Village officials thank the public for their patience as they work to enhance the popular community park.
