Last night, the Village of Sloatsburg held its highly anticipated reorganizational meeting, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the community. The event celebrated the swearing-in of Mayor Darrell L.S. Frasier and Trustee Susan McDonagh, who join the village leadership to guide Sloatsburg into a promising future.
Mayor Frasier extended heartfelt gratitude to all who attended the ceremony, highlighting the importance of community support for the newly elected officials. He also acknowledged the presence of numerous dignitaries and local leaders, whose participation underscored the significance of the occasion.
Deputy Bonkoski, Trustee Donnelly, Trustee Bitterman, Congressman Mike Lawler, Senator Bill Weber, State Assemblyman Karl Brabenec, County Legislator Doug Jobson, County Clerk Donna Gorman-Silberman, Town Supervisor Dave McMillien, Former Mayor Carl S. Wright, and Former Mayor Peter J. Akey, among others who were in attendance demonstrated the unity and collaboration that will undoubtedly strengthen the village moving forward.
As Mayor Frasier and Trustee McDonagh begin their terms, anticipation is building for the progress and initiatives the new board will bring to Sloatsburg over the next four years. The community looks forward to continued growth and success under their leadership.
