The Village of Nyack has announced that the Catherine Street Parking Lot will be closed on Friday, July 24, as crews complete a full repaving project.
All vehicles must be removed from the lot by 6:00 a.m. on Friday. Catherine Street will also be closed to through traffic during the work, with access limited to residents only. Temporary parking restrictions will be in effect on Main Street adjacent to the parking lot while paving operations are underway.
Following the paving, the Village’s Department of Public Works will repaint parking lines and complete additional maintenance before reopening the lot, which is expected to occur in the late afternoon.
Permit holders who normally park in the Catherine Street lot may use the Artopee Lot or Riverspace Lot throughout the day on Friday.
Village officials thanked residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation as the improvements are completed.
