Village of New Hempstead Announces Road Widening Project to Begin Monday on Summit Park Road

The Village of New Hempstead announces that a road widening project will commence on Summit Park Road between Rodman Place and New Hempstead on Monday, August 5. This infrastructure upgrade is designed to improve traffic flow and enhance safety for all road users.

Flaggers will be stationed along the affected section of Summit Park Road to direct traffic and ensure a smooth passage through the work zone. Residents are encouraged to allow extra travel time and to follow any instructions provided by the flaggers.

The Village of New Hempstead appreciates the patience and cooperation of its residents during this period and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
