Village of Kaser Announces 2026-2027 Tax Collection Period

The Village of Kaser has announced that the 2026-2027 Village Tax Roll has been received and tax collection is now underway.

According to a notice issued by Village Clerk/Treasurer Binyomin Memelstein, residents may pay their village taxes at Village Hall, located at 207 Route 306, Monsey, from June 1 through June 30, 2026, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Taxes paid by June 30 will be accepted without penalty.

Village officials advise that taxes remaining unpaid after June 30 will be subject to penalties, including a 5% surcharge for the month of July and an additional 1% per month thereafter until November 1, 2026. At that point, an additional 7% penalty will be added, and delinquent tax accounts will be forwarded to the Rockland County Treasurer for collection.

Residents whose taxes are paid through their mortgage bank are reminded that tax bills are typically mailed directly to the bank. Anyone who receives a tax bill should verify with both the Village and their bank to avoid duplicate payments.

For additional information or assistance, residents are encouraged to contact the Village of Kaser.
