Village of Chestnut Ridge Announces Next Phase of Road Resurfacing Project Beginning Monday

The Village of Chestnut Ridge has announced that the next phase of its road resurfacing project will begin Monday, July 27, with milling work scheduled on several local streets, followed by paving the following week.

According to the village, Jacqueline Road and Madeline Terrace will be milled on Monday, July 27, with paving scheduled to begin on Monday, August 3. Laurel Lane and portions of Scotland Road will be milled on Tuesday, July 28, with paving expected to begin on Tuesday, August 4.

Village officials noted that work may continue into the following day if needed, and the schedule is subject to change due to weather or construction progress. While no road closures are planned, motorists should expect brief alternating lane closures and traffic delays, particularly on Scotland Road, during the construction period.
