VIDEO: New Buses Added to Clarkstown Mini-Trans Fleet, Courtesy of Rockland County Grant

In an initiative to enhance public transportation services in the region, Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann and Rockland County Executive Ed Day proudly revealed four brand-new buses for the Clarkstown mini-trans system yesterday.

Thanks to a generous grant from Rockland County Government, these vehicles were secured with no financial burden placed on Clarkstown taxpayers. The addition of these buses will play a significant role in increasing the efficiency and capacity of local transportation, ensuring residents have access to more reliable transit options.

Residents can expect to see the new additions in service within the next few days as they are integrated into the current routes. Both Supervisor Hoehmann and County Executive Day expressed their gratitude towards the county for the grant and their excitement about the positive impact this will have on the community.
