Monsey Scoop received this update from to Ping Cellular in Monsey about the ongoing Verizon issue in Monsey and it’s surrounding areas.
“We received the following email from Verizon this morning” said Sam Sperber owner of Ping Cellular.
The cell sites in the area should all be working properly right now.
We had issues at two of our cell sites.
Our Spring Valley Relo site was off the air for a radio hardware upgrade in the middle of June and then had a power issue in early July.
Our Monsey cell site had a maintenance outage to install some batteries earlier this week.”
Sperber further said that credit is due to Congressman Mike Lawler and his constituent Services Director Rafi Silberberg and Community Activist Mayer Tauber for going above and beyond to have Verizon get these issues resolved.
