The Thiells Fire Department Underwater Search and Rescue truck involved in the crash at North Route 9W and East Railroad Avenue has been towed from the scene. Haverstraw Police, Haverstraw EMS, the Thiells Fire Department, the West Haverstraw Fire Department, and the Rockland County Technical Rescue Team remained on scene as the investigation continued. Multiple injured patients were transported to area hospitals. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. More updates will be provided as they become available to us.
