UPDATE: South Pascack Road Closure for NYSDOT Bridge Project

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) has announced an update to the ongoing Route 59 Bridge Replacement Project in the Town of Ramapo.

South Pascack Road, between Pipetown Hill Road and Perlman Drive, will remain closed for approximately three weeks as crews continue critical work to replace the Route 59 Bridge over South Pascack Road — a project aimed at ensuring the long-term safety and reliability of the roadway.

Key Information from NYSDOT:

  • South Pascack Road will be closed to through traffic, but local access will remain open for residents and businesses up to the work zone.

  • Temporary delays are expected in the area.

  • A signed detour route has been established — drivers are urged to follow all posted detour signs for their safety and for the safety of highway crews.
