UPDATE: Second Suspect Arrested in Centre Street Homicide Case

Spring Valley Police have made a second arrest in connection with the homicide investigation stemming from the discovery of a deceased male inside an abandoned commercial property on Centre Street, as reported on Monsey Scoop last week. 

On the evening of Friday, February 21, 2025, Ector Ramirez, 22, of Spring Valley, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder (Penal Law 125.25). He was arraigned the following day before Judge Mellion in Spring Valley Justice Court and remanded to the Rockland County Jail.

This arrest follows the earlier apprehension of Christian Guzman-Loera, 26, of Spring Valley, who was also charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody.
