Nearly three weeks after a partial roof collapse at the old Skvere Beis Hamedrish in New Square, an inspection conducted Monday determined that the entire building will need to be demolished due to structural stability concerns. The building has remained closed since the collapse, which B’chasdei Hashem resulted in no injuries, and sources tell Monsey Scoop that the demolition is expected to be carried out over the next several months.
