The 72-year-old woman with dementia who went missing earlier today has been safely located on Hadassah Lane near Old Nyack Turnpike. A local resident spotted her and quickly alerted a neighbor—who happened to be the wife of a Chaverim of Rockland volunteer and was aware of the ongoing search.
After confirming the situation, they immediately contacted Ramapo Police. Spring Hill EMS is currently on scene evaluating the woman as a precaution.
Thanks to the swift actions of alert neighbors and the coordinated response by Chaverim of Rockland, Ramapo Police, and EMS, the incident was resolved safely.

Ramapo Police have launched an active search for a missing elderly woman identified as Maryse, 72, who suffers from dementia. She was last seen near the area of Chestnut Ridge Road and Summit Road.
Maryse was reportedly wearing a black nightgown with a bright floral print and green flip-flop sandals when she went missing.
Chaverim of Rockland has joined the search effort, assisting authorities in canvassing the area.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts or who may have seen someone matching her description is urged to call Ramapo Police immediately at 845-357-2400. Community assistance is critical in helping to locate her safely.
