In a swift turn of events following a widespread search, Thomas Lilly, the 48-year-old man with schizophrenia who went missing from a group home in Pomona, has been found. The discovery came shortly after the urgent call for public assistance was shared.
Lilly was located at the ShopRite of Garnerville by a Haverstraw Police officer, Following his discovery, Lilly is being transported by EMS to a local hospital for evaluation to ensure his well-being after the ordeal.
The successful location of Lilly was a collaborative effort involving multiple agencies. The Ramapo Police received significant assistance from the Rockland County Sheriff’s Unit, Hillcrest Fire Department, Haverstraw Police Department, Chaverim Of Rockland Search and Rescue and Drone Team, along with other law enforcement personnel.

Standing at 6’1″ and weighing 220 pounds, Lilly was last seen at 638 Route 306, dressed in a white sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and red sneakers.
