UPDATE: Missing Haverstraw Teen Safely Located and Reunited with Family

Franyer Cruz Dominguez, the 17-year-old from Haverstraw who went missing after leaving his school in Orangetown, has been safely located and is now back home.

Franyer left his school earlier in the week, taking a cab to 197th Street and University Avenue in the Bronx, where he disappeared without contact. His family was left deeply concerned, prompting an urgent search effort.

On Sunday, Franyer’s family confirmed that he was found alive on a train in Manhattan. They expressed relief and gratitude while sharing that they were by his side in the hospital.

The family thanked the community and advocates for their swift action and support during this challenging time.
