The Haverstraw Police Department has released new details regarding the fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday night, September 9, 2025, at approximately 8:45 PM on Clove Avenue in the Village of Haverstraw.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Muhssia King of Haverstraw, NY. According to police, King was seated in the driver’s seat of a vehicle when he was approached by an unknown number of suspects. Multiple rounds were fired into the vehicle, striking King several times. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, investigators say no motive has been determined. The Haverstraw Police Department is working closely with multiple law enforcement agencies to conduct a thorough investigation.
