All 55 bochurim and two staff members from Viznitzer Yeshiva of Boro Park who went missing off-trail in Harriman State Park on Sunday afternoon have been safely located.
The group had spent Shabbos in Nyack and was making a stop at the park on their way back to Brooklyn when they lost their way during a hike.
Thanks to the swift and coordinated efforts of Chaverim of Rockland, all individuals were located and found to be in good condition. One bochur was evaluated by Rockland Hatzoloh on scene but did not require transport to the hospital.

A large-scale search operation is underway after a group of 55 bochurim and two staff members from Viznitzer Yeshiva of Boro Park went off-trail during a hike in Harriman State Park on Sunday afternoon. The group had spent Shabbos in Nyack and was reportedly making a stop on their way back home when they entered the park and lost their way.
Chaverim of Rockland, Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland County, and NYS Forest Rangers responded swiftly to the scene. Chaverim volunteers made contact with most of the group shortly after arriving and are currently working to locate the remaining individuals.
The search is active and ongoing as responders navigate the terrain to ensure everyone is brought out safely.
