On Sunday afternoon, Spring Hill EMS responded to an emergency call for two injured hikers in the mountainous area of Pomona. Two ambulances, along with the department’s Special Operations Unit, were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Utilizing their specialized Gator vehicle, volunteers navigated the rugged terrain and safely extricated the patients from the mountain. Emergency medical care was provided on-site before both individuals were transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Spring Hill EMS extended its gratitude to all responders who contributed to the successful and safe rescue mission.
