Two Arrested in Tomkins Cove During Warrant Investigation

A joint operation between the Stony Point Police Department and the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Intelligence Division led to the arrest of two individuals with outstanding warrants on the morning of February 4, 2025.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., officers executed a warrant investigation at a residence in Tomkins Cove, known to house multiple individuals with active criminal warrants from both local and out-of-state jurisdictions.

Upon arrival, officers interviewed the homeowner and several occupants. One of the individuals, Robert J. Keahon, was found to have an outstanding warrant from Worcester County, Massachusetts, for multiple charges, including forgery, identity fraud, and larceny. Keahon was taken into custody and transported to the Stony Point Police Department for processing. He was later arraigned and remanded to the Rockland County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Massachusetts.

Another individual, Americo Sousa, was also located at the residence. Sousa had a bench warrant issued by the Clarkstown Town Court for criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, along with multiple vehicle and traffic violations. He was taken into custody and turned over to the Clarkstown Police Department.

Authorities noted that at least two other residents of the home, who were not present at the time of the investigation, have outstanding warrants from Spring Valley, Clarkstown, and the Bronx. The investigation remains ongoing.
