Tuxedo, Ramapo, Tuxedo Park, and Suffern Police Conduct Security Training in Unoccupied School Buildings

As winter break comes to an end, the Tuxedo Police Department, in coordination with the Town of Ramapo Police, Village of Tuxedo Park, and Village of Suffern, took advantage of the unoccupied Tuxedo School District buildings to enhance security measures and emergency preparedness.

This initiative underscores the departments’ ongoing commitment to student safety, with School Resource Officers (SROs) and law enforcement personnel working diligently to ensure a secure learning environment. By utilizing the break period for training and strategy development, officers reinforced their readiness to respond effectively to any potential threats.

The participating police departments remain dedicated to safeguarding the community, taking a proactive approach to security that benefits both students and staff.
