The ramp from northbound Route 9W to the southbound Thruway (I-87/I-287) and the Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge will be closed from 10:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, through 5:00 a.m. Monday, April 28, to accommodate maintenance work.
Motorists can follow a posted one-mile detour to Interchange 11 in Nyack to access the southbound Thruway and bridge. Access to the northbound Thruway from Route 9W will remain open during the closure.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and use extra caution when traveling through the area.
