TRAVEL ADVISORY: Palisades Parkway Northbound to Close Near Bear Mountain for Road Repairs Sunday Night into Monday

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the northbound lanes of the Palisades Interstate Parkway will be closed between Exit 19 (Perkins Memorial Drive) and the Bear Mountain Circle (U.S. 9W/U.S. 202) in the Town of Highlands beginning Sunday, July 12, at 10:00 p.m. through Monday, July 13, at 3:00 p.m.

The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to complete roadway repairs and is weather permitting. Drivers are urged to follow the posted detour and allow extra travel time while the work is underway.
