Motorists should be aware of road closures this Sunday, February 9, 2025, as the Annual Stony Point Seals Inc. Polar Plunge takes place along the Hudson River.
Grassy Point Road/River Road will be closed to all traffic from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to accommodate the event. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes during this time.
The Polar Plunge is a yearly tradition where participants brave the freezing waters of the Hudson to raise funds for a charitable cause. Those interested can still sign up and take the plunge.
