TRAFFIC ALERT – HAVERSTRAW: Route 9W to Close for Two Weeks, November 10–21 for Paving Work

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is advising Rockland County motorists that a portion of U.S. Route 9W in the Town of Haverstraw will be closed weekdays between Haverstraw Road and State Route 304 beginning Monday, November 10 through Friday, November 21, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weather permitting.

The closure is necessary to facilitate paving activities along the route. Detours will be clearly posted, and drivers are urged to plan alternate routes, allow for additional travel time, and use caution near the work zone.

The NYSDOT reminds motorists to drive safely and move over for highway workers.
