Town Square Mall has announced a significant renovation of its parking lots, which includes adding new lanes, repaving existing areas, and constructing a new roundabout. The project will partially close sections of the parking lot for approximately three weeks.
Milling work is set to begin late tonight and continue into early tomorrow. To accommodate high traffic volumes, some parking lots will remain open on weekends, specifically from Thursday through Sunday. Additionally, during mid-week, when parking spaces are limited, a new pathway has been created from the neighboring building at 33 Downtown to the Town Square lot. This pathway will allow for the smooth passage of carriages and shopping carts.
Throughout the renovation period, Chaverim of Rockland will be actively involved, ensuring pedestrian safety and managing traffic control.
