Town Of Ramapo to Host Free Paper Shredding Event This Sunday

Rockland Green will be holding a free paper shredding event this Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Spook Rock Pool, 171 Spook Rock Road, Suffern, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The program allows residents to securely dispose of personal documents, with a limit of three banker-sized boxes (approx. 24” x 15” x 11”) per car. Paperclips and staples are acceptable, but shredded paper, binders, plastics, and bags will not be accepted.

The shredding is open to all Rockland County residents only—businesses and non-profits are not eligible. Attendees are asked to remain in their vehicles while staff unloads the material.

Rockland Green is also encouraging participants to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the local food pantry, helping support neighbors in need.

For additional information, residents can call 845-753-2200 or visit www.rocklandgreen.com.
