The Town of Ramapo stepped in to assist the Village of Spring Valley after village officials declared a State of Emergency due to back-to-back snowstorms that overwhelmed local Department of Public Works operations.
After Spring Valley reported equipment issues and staffing shortages around midday, Ramapo Highway Superintendent Fred Brinn deployed two town plow trucks to clear roads throughout the village during the afternoon hours.
Town Supervisor Michael Specht, telling Monsey Scoop, said the town was able to provide assistance once crews became available, explaining that Ramapo sent two plows that continued working into the evening to complete the operation.
As part of the agreement, the village agreed to reimburse the town for employee and equipment costs and to hold Ramapo harmless from any related claims. Ramapo officials emphasized that the coordinated response helped ensure road safety during hazardous winter conditions while supporting neighboring municipalities in need.

How does the town send out plows to help with spring Valley when they are not done with their own streets ??
What is that truck plowing. Just wasting time, fuel, and wear and tear on the vehicle.
