Town Of Ramapo Police Increased Security Measures Deployed At Lake Suzanne Following Vandalism

The Town of Ramapo Police has announced enhanced security measures at Lake Suzanne following recent acts of vandalism targeting newly constructed piers, fencing, and gates in the area.

Officials say the Town will now actively monitor the site using a combination of fixed surveillance cameras, increased police patrols, and advanced drone technology. As part of the initiative, Ramapo will deploy its Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program, utilizing the Skydio system to provide rapid aerial response and real-time situational awareness.

Authorities emphasized that anyone caught damaging or tampering with Town property will be held fully accountable and prosecuted.
