On Thursday evening, the Town of Haverstraw held a swearing-in ceremony for town officials as they formally took the oath of office for the upcoming term.
The ceremony began with Superintendent of Highways Bart Gordon, followed by Town Clerk Raquel Ventura, and Town Justice Yvonne Santos.
Also sworn in were Town Councilman Isidro Papocancel and Town Supervisor Howard Phillips. Town Councilman Vincent Gambole was unable to attend the ceremony due to a family commitment and is expected to be sworn in at a later date.
Family members, colleagues, and community residents were in attendance as the officials reaffirmed their commitment to continue serving the Town of Haverstraw.
