The Town of Ramapo will be hosting a Car Seat Safety Check event on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tallman Fire Department, located at 289 Route 59 in Tallman, NY.
Nationally Certified Technicians will be on-site to assist parents and caregivers in ensuring that their car seats are properly installed, providing expert guidance and hands-on help. Attendees are encouraged to bring their child and their car seat for the inspection.
This initiative is part of the ongoing effort by the Ramapo Police Department to promote child passenger safety and prevent injuries from improperly installed car seats.
