TODAY: Chaverim of Rockland Hosts Annual Bike Registration and Carnival

Tomorrow, Sunday, July 7th, Chaverim of Rockland will hold its annual Bike Registration and Fun Fair at Viola Park. This popular and well-attended event aims to combine fun with safety education for children and families.

The event will feature designated areas for registering bikes, scooters, segues, and carriages. Registering these vehicles with Chaverim helps in their recovery if stolen. Free helmets will also be distributed during the event.

Throughout the afternoon, safety education and awareness presentations will be conducted by the New York State Police, Rockland County Sheriff, Town of Ramapo Police Department, Spring Valley Police, and Hatzolah of Rockland.

Children will enjoy a variety of activities, including balloon rides, other rides, prizes, cotton candy, slush, drinks, ices, and a major bike show. The day is designed to show children that fun and safety can be combined into one exciting event.
