TODAY: East Ramapo Central School District Holds Repeat Budget Vote on Revised Proposal

The East Ramapo Central School District (ERCSD) is holding a repeat vote today on a revised budget proposal. The revised budget, which has reduced the proposed tax levy increase to 1%, comes after the initial budget was rejected by voters on May 21.

The new proposal asks voters to approve a $331.9 million spending plan for the 2024-2025 school year. Unlike the original budget, the revised version relies less on reserve funds, incorporating a modest tax levy increase to support the funding needs.
