The Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services Office is offering another Emergency Preparedness Training at the Rockland County Fire Training Center following overwhelming interest in previous sessions.

The free NY Citizen Preparedness Class will teach residents how to prepare for emergencies, develop a family emergency plan, assemble a preparedness kit, and stay informed before, during, and after a disaster. Each family that attends will receive a free preparedness kit to take home.

The training will take place on Wednesday, March 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Rockland County Fire Training Center. Registration is required and can be completed online: https://pspapps.dhses.ny.gov/…/registrant/add.xhtml. For more information or questions, residents can visit rocklandem.com or email EM@co.rockland.ny.us. Officials encourage all residents to attend and take part in helping build a safer and more prepared Rockland County.
