THIS WEDNESDAY: Rockland County Hosts Information Sessions on Housing Discrimination

Rockland County Executive Ed Day, in collaboration with County Human Rights Commissioner Spencer Chiimbwe, is inviting the public to participate in an upcoming informational event on housing discrimination. The sessions aim to educate residents on what constitutes housing discrimination and outline the steps they can take if they believe they have been victims.

The event will take place on Wednesday, November 20th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Finkelstein Memorial Library, Fielding Room, 3rd floor, located at 24 Chestnut Street, Spring Valley.

Attendance requires an RSVP. Interested individuals should call 845-364-3885 to reserve their spot.

This initiative underscores Rockland County’s commitment to ensuring fair housing practices and empowering residents with knowledge of their rights.
